How did you manage to complete both your bachelor’s and MBA in just four years?I was part of the University of Hartford’s 3+1 MBA Program, which is designed for students seeking an accelerated path. Over the first three years, I took a rigorous course load, including six classes per semester, along with summer and winter courses. In my final year, I transitioned to the MBA program, taking an accelerated course route to complete both degrees within that four-year timeframe. It was intense, but it taught me a lot about time management and perseverance.

Why have you pursued such a wide range of industries, from marketing to insurance to sports?My eagerness to learn and adapt has always been my driving force. I’ve found that diving into various industries not only expands my knowledge but also sparks innovation. Each field—whether it's marketing, insurance, or soccer—has its own unique challenges, and by immersing myself in them, I’ve developed new skills that transfer across all areas. For example, my strategic thinking in marketing helps me better understand customer needs in insurance, while coaching soccer has strengthened my leadership and team-building skills. This diversity has sharpened my creativity and allowed me to offer fresh, innovative solutions, no matter the industry.

What has been the most rewarding part of your entrepreneurial journey?The most rewarding part has been seeing the impact I can have on people’s lives. Whether it’s helping a business grow through marketing or seeing a soccer player develop on the field, it’s those moments where I see someone succeed because of something I contributed that make it all worth it. Helping clients or teams reach their potential is incredibly fulfilling.

How do you handle challenges or setbacks in your work?I see challenges and setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow. Every mistake or hurdle is a chance to develop new skills and perspectives. When things don’t go as planned, I focus on problem-solving and adapting. It’s how I’ve always approached my career, whether in marketing, insurance, or coaching, and it’s allowed me to continuously improve and innovate.

I don’t just come up with unique ideas—I focus on how those ideas can be executed effectively and deliver real results. Plus, my diverse background in different industries helps me think outside the box and bring fresh perspectives that many others may not have.

How do you come up with creative ideas in your marketing work?Creativity often comes from looking at things from a new angle or bringing in inspiration from other industries. Since I’ve worked in multiple fields, I’ve learned to draw connections between different types of work, which sparks new ideas. I also believe in understanding the needs of the audience—when you know what resonates with people, it becomes easier to create something that truly stands out.

What advice would you give to someone starting their own business?Focus on solving a real problem or making people’s lives better. When you center your business around serving others, you’re building something that has long-term value. Also, don’t be afraid to make mistakes—each one is an opportunity to learn and grow. Stay persistent, keep learning, and remember that the customer’s happiness is what ultimately drives success.
